2024 NFL Draft: #1 is Clear, #2 Clear-ish, #3 - 5 Murky

#1: Caleb Williams —> Chicago Bears

It’s been talked about to death, no point in wasting your time any further. The Bears are taking Caleb Williams.

#2: Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels —> Washington Commanders

This is where we’re starting to taste a little spice. Daniels’ agent, Ron Butler, has been having fun on X, liking and quoting tweets that are bashing the Commanders for inviting Daniels and three other QB prospects at once.

Daniels has of course denied any rumors that he doesn’t want to play for the Commanders.

Our take? Butler is trying to save face for his client as he knows it’s unlikely that Daniels will be #2. Kind of a “we didn’t want to go there anyways” type of thing.

Expect Drake Maye to go #2 to the Commanders.

#3: Marvin Harrison, Jayden Daniels, or Trade —> New England Patriots

If you threw us into the Patriots’ boardroom, we’re drafting Marvin Harrison no questions asked. He’s 6’4 with an elite catch radius and route running ability.

But…who knows. There may be a reason we’re big on TikTok and not making franchise decisions, yet 😉

The Patriots haven’t been shy about being open to trades and there’s a handful of teams that desperately need a QB. The Vikings, Broncos, and Raiders (sitting at picks 11, 12, and 13 respectively) are all teams that could be willing to pay a premium for the #3 draft pick to get Daniels.

Our guess? Raiders trade up for the #3 pick and go with Jayden Daniels.

#4: Marvin Harrison —> Arizona Cardinals

If our predictions come true, Marvin Harrison Jr. will be the best player on the board and a perfect pick for the Cardinals. They may just have a future Larry Fitzgerald on their hands.

#5: Malik Nabers or Joe Alt —> LA Chargers

If the LA Chargers don’t draft Nabers, they might have the worst receiver group in the NFL with a very sad Justin Herbert. It’s truly disastrous. Josh Palmer is not a WR1 and with the Chargers parting ways with Mike Williams and Keenan Allen, this signals to us that they’re looking for a WR.

HOWEVER. This is a Jim Harbaugh Chargers team now. Old school, run-first offence is what we can expect. So don’t be surprised if they draft Joe Alt.
